Michael John "Mick" Gordon is an award-winning Australian composer, record producer, musician, and sound designer. He is globally celebrated for his high-energy, immersive, and aggressive soundtracks that seamlessly blend industrial electronics, heavy metal, and dynamic sound design. Born in Mackay, Queensland, Gordon began working professionally in audio production and game scoring in 2002. He achieved massive critical and mainstream acclaim for his revolutionary, award-winning score for DOOM (2016) and its sequel DOOM Eternal, utilizing heavily distorted analog synthesizers and custom-built audio systems. Beyond video games—including his widely recognized scores for Killer Instinct, Wolfenstein: The New Order, and Prey—Gordon has increasingly expanded his work into cinematic scoring for television, short films, and major feature thrillers.
