Hallur Joensen
Biography
Hallur Joensen is born and raised in the remote Faroe Islands. He completed the Higher Commercial Examination Programme (HHX) in 2024 at Kambsdal College. From 2024-2025 he completed a 1 year production course in the Faroe Islands called Flogfisk, while during this time he also represented the Faroese Film Institute at the European Film Market at the Berlin Film Festival. He has gone on to Produce 5 short films in total and also worked as a Production Assistant in a German-Faroese Feature Film. After that Hallur went to the European Film College in Denmark to further advance his skills in production.
