Raised in a cinema-loving household, he honed his craft at India’s top media school, where he won the university's annual screenwriting competition two years running. His professional journey began crafting web series pitches for Disney+ and Netflix during a production house internship in Mumbai, India. Manav has since directed award-winning short films that blend fantastical elements with everyday reality. His work demonstrates a unique ability to find the extraordinary in the ordinary. Manav aspires to direct commercial features that combine big-budget spectacle with deeply personal storytelling.
