Biography

Xavier Lacasse (born December 4, 2006) is a Canadian student filmmaker from Quebec. Often described as Léo Pierre Couturier’s “partner in crime” through their experimental project Rhoda Cyst, he began his creative journey at Cégep de Sainte‑Foy, where he worked on his first films. Exploring animation through rotoscoping, Xavier created Café Wazoo (2025) independently in his 2½ apartment, alongside the crime drama Clementine the same year.
