A socially-focused filmmaker with a psychotherapy background. In balancing these two industries, Jack has brought a psychological and emotionally-attuned perspective to the creative arts. His professional and personal experiences inspire him to investigate society on screen through championing diverse stories across the gender spectrum that resonate with his upbringing as a queer, neurodivergent, working-class person in Scotland. His key skills are rigorous research which informs the emotional truth of his work, a keen ear for dialogue and a willingness to take creative risks. He has a passion for filmmaking as a tool to empower people through art and representation.
