Biography
Just-A. Meissonnier has collaborated as camera operator, cinematographer and second unit cinematographer with directors such as Wes Anderson, Martin Scali, Roman Coppola, Lucas Posson, Jude Poyer, Charlotte Karas, Edouard Salier, Virginie Bluzat, Clémence Demesme, and cinematographers such as Robert Yeoman, Zack Spiger, Jean-Paul Agostini, Ludovic Zuili, Martial Schmeltz & Axel Cosnefroy. He started to work in the film industry in 2008 while living in London as camera assistant, then moved back to Paris to pursue his cinematography studies at the International Film school of Paris & completed an additional lighting program at Louis Lumière film school. He worked as camera assistant in both analog and digital worlds for 10 years before moving completely into operating and lighting in 2021. Currently, while continuing his work on feature films, he has moved into work as Director of Photography on several short film projects, and is developing a strong personality and creativity in the field.
