Biography

David M. Frank is an Emmy-award winning producer and the President of Indigo Films, an independent production company he founded in 1997. He previously served as an executive at Columbia Studios and a producer at KCET (PBS Los Angeles). He holds a master’s degree from UCLA and is a member of the International Documentary Association. His most prominent works include the long-running series I (Almost) Got Away With It, Wives with Knives, and Unlikely Animal Friends. Other credits include: Secrets & Mysteries, Secrets of the Bible, Mount St. Helens: Forecast for Disaster, Crucifixion, Full Force Nature, Megastructures, The Hunt for Lincoln’s Assassin, 42 Ways to Kill Hitler, Busted!: Animal Smugglers, Mega Mansions, Auction on Wheels, Bikinis & Ski Slopes, Bikinis & Boardwalks, Insane Coaster Wars, World Access, Restless Souls, My Strange Criminal Addiction, Sex Sent Me to the Slammer, Campus Nightmares, World’s Greatest Dogs, Super Underdogs, and The Day I Almost Died. All have been created for a variety of networks, including: ABC, A&E, Animal Planet, Discovery Life, History Channel, Investigation Discovery, LMN, National Geographic, NatGeo WILD, PBS, Science Channel, Travel Channel, and the Weather Channel.
