Biography
Adrienne Palmer, better known by her ring name Athena, is an American professional wrestler who debuted in 2007 and is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), primarily appearing in its sister promotion Ring of Honor (ROH), where she is the leader of the M.I.T. stable and currently holds the record for the longest ROH Women’s World Championship reign in history at over 1,247 days. She is also known for her time in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) from 2015 to 2021 under the ring name Ember Moon, where she became a one-time NXT Women’s Champion and one-time NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion alongside Shotzi Blackheart. Before WWE, she competed on the independent circuit for SHIMMER Women Athletes (SHIMMER), Shine Wrestling, Women Superstars Uncensored (WSU), and Wrestling Revolver. Her lengthy championship reigns and work across AEW, ROH, and WWE earned recognition from Pro Wrestling Illustrated (PWI), which ranked her No. 18 in the Female 50 in 2017, No. 6 in the Women’s 250 in 2023, and No. 7 in 2025.
